As a Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives aimed at growing our rider and driver base. You will work closely with senior leadership to align sales objectives with company goals, manage a team of sales professionals, and create tailored solutions to enhance our brand’s presence in the market. Your ability to build relationships, influence decision-makers, and drive revenue growth will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and achieve business objectives.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to exceed performance targets and KPIs.
- Market Analysis: Identify new business opportunities and emerging markets, utilizing data-driven insights to guide sales decisions.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including city officials, businesses, and potential partners, to expand market penetration.
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for executive leadership, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Partnership Development: Develop and manage strategic partnerships to enhance brand visibility and create mutually beneficial business opportunities.
- Client Acquisition & Retention: Lead efforts to acquire new clients and customers, while maintaining high satisfaction levels for existing accounts.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless implementation of sales initiatives.
- Budget Management: Oversee the sales department’s budget, ensuring effective resource allocation to meet targets.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 4-6 years of proven success in sales, with a focus on the transportation or tech industry (ride-hailing experience is a plus).
- Leadership Skills: Strong experience managing and motivating a sales team, with a demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and business goals.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions that impact the overall direction of sales initiatives.
- Relationship-Building: Exceptional ability to build and nurture relationships with a wide range of external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with experience in sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and present effectively to executive leadership.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with CRM systems and other sales tools, as well as a strong understanding of sales analytics.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus).
