LECTURER – ECONOMICS
Job Purpose
To deliver high-quality teaching, research, and academic support in Economics programmes, while contributing to curriculum development and student success.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures in the specified subject areas to students.
- Prepare course materials, assessments, and maintain accurate academic records.
- Conduct research and contribute to scholarly publications.
- Supervises students’ research projects and dissertations.
- Participate in curriculum development and periodic programme reviews.
- Engage in student mentorship and academic advising.
- Participate in examination setting, marking, and moderation processes.
- Contribute to quality assurance and accreditation requirements.
- Support the use of e-learning platforms and blended teaching approaches.
- Engage with industry to enhance practical relevance of programmes.
- Participate in departmental meetings and serve on institutional committees.
- Contributed to community engagement, consultancy, and professional activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Economics or a related field.
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in Economics or a related field.
- PhD in Economics or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Lecturing experience at the tertiary level.

- Strong knowledge of Economics principles across the specified subject areas.
- Excellent teaching, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Strong research and academic writing ability.
- Good organizational andtimemanagement skills.

LECTURER – PURCHASING AND SUPPLY
Job Purpose

- PhD in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Lecturing experience at the tertiary level.
