operates mining and processing plants located in four districts namely Chingola, Chililabombwe, Kitwe and Nampundwe.
The company’s growth trajectory presents exciting opportunities to leverage minerals and human resources to enhance
stakeholder value and become Zambia’s pride. As part of this growth, Vedanta is planning to invest in energy infrastructure
in Zambia which include large state of the art thermal power plant and renewable power development. To support and enable
this growth, we are looking for a high-energy, results-driven, individual to take on the role of

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead end-to-end Project & Business setup on a green-field set up: legal structuring, regulatory compliance, Business partner identification and management, asset acquisition/development
  • Establish a high-performance culture with strong safety, compliance, and innovation focus.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international Project, Mining, environmental, and energy regulations.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Engineering Degree from recognized University.
  • MBA will be an added advantage
  • 15+ years of leadership experience in power plant projects / operations Women Leaders
  • Proven track record of managing power infrastructure or energy projects on an EPC set up
  • Deep understanding of compliance and regulations are encouraged to apply
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen
