Breakdown diagnosis and Repair
- Faults diagnosed accurately and within acceptable response times

Inspection and Condition Monitoring
- Identifying early signs of wear or failure and making sure Inspection reports are completed accurately
- Equipment lifespan improved through proactive maintenance
- Replacing components before catastrophic failure
Component overhaul and replacement
- Engines, gearboxes, brakes, suspension, steering, and drivetrain components repaired correctly.
- Components fitting within specified tolerances with zero rework caused by poor workmanship

- Downtime reduction through effective maintenance.

Health, Safety and Environment Compliance
- Full compliance with HSE policies, procedures, permit-to-work system and correct use of PPE and adherence to safe work practices.
- Good housekeeping maintained in all areas and no environmental incidents resulting from maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Trade certificate or Diploma in Motor vehicle mechanics.
- Must be a registered member of Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ)
- Full Grade Twelve (12) Certificate
- ZAQA certified academic qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years mechanical maintenance experience
- Experience with heavy equipment or fleet maintenance
- Experience in working with hydraulic systems
- Experience in FMCG industry is an added advantage
Must have skills
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults efficiently.
- Repairing engines and carrying out mechanical assemblies
- Prepare maintenance reports and work records.
- Conduct equipment inspections and servicing.
- Read and interpret engineering manuals.
- Manage multiple maintenance tasks and priorities.
