
1. ASSESSMENTS SPECIALIST-AUTOMOTIVE X 1
2. OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To coordinate, monitor, and facilitate the conduct of TEVET examinations and qualifications to effectively measure training standards.
3. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
a) a) Facilitates the conduct of national examinations.
b) b) Participate in examination setting, moderation, and marking sessions.
c) c) Analyses examination results and programme reports.
d) d) Facilitates workshops for assessors and examiners in order to enhance quality in setting, moderation, and marking of examinations.
e) e) Monitors foreign examinations conducted in Zambia.
f) f) Produces general and specific examination guidelines for examiners, examination centres, and learners in liaison with examination boards.
g) g) Facilitates enrolment of learners.
h) h) Maintains examination records and assessment data.
i) i) Ensures compliance with TEVET examination standards and procedures.
j) j) Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
4. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
a) a) Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent
b) b)A University Degree in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering
c) c) Diploma in Teaching Methodology or equivalent
d) d) Valid 2026 Membership of EIZ
e) e) TEVETA Accreditation as a Trainer/Examiner is an added advantage

n) i) Ability to analyze and interpret data

q) l) Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records
6. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
a) Minimum of three (3) years relevant industry experience in Automotive Engineering. b) Minimum of three (3) years teaching experience in a training institution.
