This full-time role as an Injection Molding Operator is based on-site at our facility in Lusaka. The primary responsibilities include operating injection molding machines, monitoring production processes, performing quality control checks, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the achievement of production targets. The operator will also handle machine setup, conduct preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal machine performance and output quality.
Qualifications
- Skills in Machine Operation and Injection Molding, with experience in handling equipment in a production environment
- Knowledge of Quality Control processes to inspect products for defects and ensure compliance with production standards
- Competency in Injections and Injection Molding techniques
- Expertise in Preventive Maintenance, including identifying and resolving equipment issues to minimize downtime
- Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision and in a team-oriented environment
- Previous experience in the manufacturing or beverage industry is an advantage
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in manufacturing is a plus
