FertAgro Africa DMCC, is the leading fertilizer company in suppling and distribution of Fertilizer across Africa. We handle all fertilizer required for the better and high yield corps for the growth of farmers across in Africa, We are currently hiring for the position of Accounts in Chargesfor east Africa location.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Zambia and Malawi for an Account In Charge. The primary responsibilities include :

· Manage full-cycle accounting including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

· Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations

· Handle VAT return filing, Corporate Tax computation, and related documentation

· Coordinate with auditors and support internal & external audits

· Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with IFRS

· Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting

· Ensure timely closing of accounts and reporting to management

· Improve accounting processes and internal controls

Liaise with banks, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies

Requirements

• B. Com/CA Semi qualified/ACCA/MBA Finance and equivalent qualification

Location : East Africa

Experience : 5-10 Years experience

Key Competence

· Person shall be independent and less supervision required

· Good communication skills.

· Honest and Integrity & accountability

Preference : Prior experience in Africa preferable but not mandatory

Other Requirements : Experience in Tally / Quick books is Preferable.
